This virtual dialogue on 8 July 2025 will explore the opportunties and challenges of brain health and prevention. It is chaired by Professor Suvarna Alladi, Professor of Neurology, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore, and Professor Miia Kivipelto, Professor in Clinical Geriatrics at Karolinska Institutet.

Each month updates and insights from the World Dementia Council will be featured in Alzheimer's and Dementia: the Journal of the Alzheimer's Association. Read more in the open access journal about two WDC dialogue on dementia in the Caribbean one focussed on health system preparedness and the second on advocacy and awareness. 

Dr Joanne Pike, Alzheimer’s Association president and chief executive officer has been elected chair of the World Demenetia Council. She is joined in this leadership role by Professor Paulo Caramelli, Professor of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Dr Pike and Professor Caramelli have written about their priorities for advancing treatments, prevention and better care.
