The Council will hold a series of events focussed on the commitments made at the G8 at London dementia summit in 2013. The headline commitment was a disease modifying treatment by 2025. The programme will begin a virtual workshop for core participants.

UK Health Minister to speak at 2025 WDC Summit
The Rt Hon Wes Streeting MP, the United Kingdom Minister for Health and Social Care, will speak at the 2025 WDC Summit on 25 March 2025. Minister Streeting with give closing remarks at the meeting and take auidence questions. The one day meeting focuses on accelerating innovation, disrupting thinking and delivering change. It brings together policymakers, academics, industry and advocates to share insight and approaches to accelerating progress.
